The Walther Rotex RM8 stands out for its elegant looks, sophisticated engineering and accurate performance in sport shooting, recreational shooting and hunting.
In appearance the Rotex RM8 adheres to a classic tradition: English style, with an Italian wooden stock by Minelli. It’s not only handsome all around, but also easy to handle. Non-slip checkered areas on the forearm and pistol grip ensure a firm grasp, and the rubberized butt plate provides shoulder protection. This way it always stays on target regardless of the weather conditions and even during sporty use.
Inside, you’ll find a reliable, precision-manufactured compressed air system, made in Germany. Pellets are fired from the 8-round aluminum rotary magazine by operating the generously dimensioned cocking lever. The 500 mm barrel, made by Lothar Walther, ensures a stable trajectory and has a muzzle brake with a ½" UNF thread for mounting a silencer. Energy is supplied by a permanently installed 230-bar compressed air cylinder with a built-in filler valve and pressure gauge. The first-stage travel of the trigger can be adjusted to suit your individual preferences.
The Rotex RM8 is built for use with a telescopic sight and therefore has an 11-mm dovetail rail. An open sight is not provided.

For over 40 years, UMAREX has been making high-quality recreational and sporting guns at its headquarters in Arnsberg, Germany. With the help of skilled metal workers, CAD professionals and traditional gunsmiths we design and manufacture a large share of our products right at our factory, and when servicing is necessary this is where they are also repaired. Over the years we have built up a large stock of spare parts. Customers who need advice can get quick, uncomplicated assistance by telephone. All of this comes from our commitment to deliver what you expect when you read “Made in Germany”.
The Vibration Reduction System ensures better accuracy and smooth firing. It includes a piston with zero-play piston rings made of low-friction synthetic material. To gently brake the piston with an air cushion at the end of its travel, additional transfer holes for each energy level are drilled at optimum locations. This dampens the recoil and protects the rifle scope. The piston spring, made of specially tempered valve spring wire, has a long spring.
