The Walther P99 set new standards the moment it came out. This was the successor to the P88 and the first handgun from Walther with a polymer frame. Since that time it has been a favorite service weapon among law enforcement agencies all over the world. It is the basis for the reliable PPQ models and cuts a good figure as a blank firing gun as well. Like the original, the blank firing version features a rugged polymer frame and a decocking lever for maximum safety. This limited special model, issued to mark the 25th birthday of the original, boasts a 24-carat gold-plated slide.
