The HDR 50's textured grip houses the propelling 12 g CO2 capsule, which, thanks to the Quick Piercing System, can be inserted without fear of losing pressure over time. This is because only a light tap on the bottom of the grip pierces the capsule and guarantees the full potential of a fresh capsule in an emergency situation. The clearly visible and tactile pressure indicator signals that the HDR 50 is ready for use. The HDR 50's removable and compact rotary magazine allows a magazine change with a preloaded magazine to be performed in a matter of seconds. This means that an additional six rounds in the powerful .50 caliber are available in the shortest possible time for effective self-protection. The automatic trigger safety prevents accidental release of a shot in the event of a fall. Picatinny rails on the top and bottom of the barrel allow the mounting of optics and other accessories.
