The Gen2 upgrade of the robust and reliable Home Defense Revolver (HDR 50) has been optimized in terms of function and design, enhancing its effectiveness for self-protection and home defense. This powerful non-lethal/less-lethal solution is a dependable companion in critical situations.
With its familiar revolver shape the HDR 50 Gen2 is easy to operate and reliable. It also relies on the proven P2P system, which offers a large selection of cal. .50 ammunition and gets power from a 12 g CO2 capsule. The 6-round rotary magazine can fire highly accurate precisionballs and can be quickly changed. The frame in the area of the cylinder release has been redesigned for even easier operation. Intuitively placed functional elements and an intelligent design ensure proper handling.
The most important updates in this second-generation model include an optimized grip texture, a new high-contrast fiber optic sight and an innovative tool-free Quick-Piercing system with integrated pressure release. The 12 g CO2 capsule in the grip is only pierced when needed, and a light blow at the bottom of the grip is sufficient. In this way users can be sure of full capsules and the best performance even after long periods of storage. A pressure indicator that can be clearly seen and felt shows whether the marker is ready for action. Any remaining pressure is easily and safely released by a quarter turn of the screw at the bottom of the grip.
The trigger safety prevents accidental firing, the extended Picatinny top rail permits mounting of a point sight, and the Picatinny rail below the barrel can hold additional accessories. The P2P HDR 50 Gen2 is also fully compatible with the many existing accessories.
The eye-catching and characteristic color scheme serves to clearly identify the HDR 50 Gen2 as a non-lethal protective device. Used internationally, it signals a non-lethal defensive intent to potential aggressors and as a result has a de-escalating effect.
As ammunition, the user can choose from the full range of P2P ammunition including Precisionballs in .50 caliber.
