Walther PDP Steel Frame Tanto Folder

plain, Bead-blast

This Walther PDP folder brings the attributes of the successful Performance Duty Pistol to the cutting-edge world of tactical knives. PDP fans and knife enthusiasts will be equally impressed by the selected materials and intelligent design.

The heart of the knife is the satin-finished tanto blade made of edge-retaining D2 steel. Its length of 92 mm and thickness of 3.6 mm make it perfect for tough everyday jobs, special operations and outdoor activities. The blade is held in place by a stainless steel frame lock and opened by means of a detachable dual thumb stud. The opening aid is modeled on the magazine release of the Walther PDP pistol.

The resemblance of this knife to the famous pistol is particularly evident in the full-size handle. The Steel Frame version is manufactured from steel and glass-bead-blasted. In addition to their PDP lettering the scales have a one-piece FRN overlay with original Performance Duty Texture. The pronounced serrations on the slide of the pistol are repeated on the scales of the solid steel handle and provide additional grip.

The knife can be carried with a reversible deep-carry clip (tip-up / l-r) for ready access. The lanyard hole is located unobtrusively in the rear spacer.

The family of Walther PDP folders includes other Steel Frame models with the following blades: spearpoint, tanto plain or tanto partly serrated, with satin finish or coated. Other models with a G10 handle and stainless steel linerlock are also available.
